A Cooler House San Antonio is one in a growing network of premium Energy Efficiency Service Companies under the umbrella of ACoolerHouse.com.

A Cooler House's mission is to provide cost effective energy saving products and services. The Management of A Cooler House began this mission in late 2002 when they formed Atlas Star Energy, Inc.

Atlas Star Energy began with an office in Amarillo, Corpus Christi, and a couple of years later in Dallas.

Over the last 5 years Atlas has managed the retrofit of over 10,000 multifamily units and 2,000 single family residents. Those Energy Efficiency Improvements have resulted in a  reduction of more than 10 megawatts of demand and 13 million kilowatt hours. That's over $2.3 million dollars worth of avoided cost and energy savings.

The original business plan was focused on contracting with Texas Electric Transmission and Distribution Utilities (TDU's) in their Demand Side Management Projects. These DSM projects require that energy savings be delivered through the energy efficiency retrofits of residential and small commercial sites.  

After a couple of years the management of Atlas Star Energy recognized the average consumers growing interest in becoming more energy efficient and GREEN.  In 2005 Atlas Star Energy purchased a retail subsidiary named... A Cooler House.

Over the last 3 years A Cooler House has become a leading energy efficiency service company (EESCO) over the web and across the State of Texas.
